About Traverse Colorado

Leadership and performance experiences in the Colorado high country — for teams and athletes ready to go beyond the ordinary.

Traverse Colorado takes leaders, teams, and endurance athletes out of their normal environment and into the mountains, where clearer thinking, honest conversation, and shared accomplishment can take on a different meaning.

Every experience is built around a purpose — whether that's bringing a leadership team together, developing stronger team dynamics, preparing for an endurance challenge, or simply pushing yourself toward a goal you didn't know was within reach.

About me

For three decades, I have built businesses and led teams globally across Fortune 500 companies and high-growth ventures, working across B2B and B2C markets. I have led organizations of 400+ people and businesses generating more than $500 million in annual revenue, driving growth through go-to-market strategy, sales leadership, business transformation, marketing innovation, and product commercialization.

What I learned through all those years is that performance ultimately comes down to people — how clearly they see the goal, how well they adapt when things change, and how much they trust one another.

That lesson became even clearer when I stepped outside the boardroom and into the mountains.

The Athlete and Adventurer

Growing up in France, I ran the 1,500 meters and swam long distances in the open ocean along the Normandy coast. That passion evolved into triathlon, cycling, skiing, mountain biking, and scuba diving which I taught for many years.

I rode from Miami to Dallas — 3,000 kilometers over 30 days, entirely self-supported. More recently, I completed Leadville 100 MTB, a high-altitude race that tested preparation, resilience, strategy, and mindset in equal measure.

Those are not just athletic lessons.

They are leadership lessons.

The Mountains Change the Equation

At altitude, experience alone is not enough. You have to adapt.

You manage effort, nutrition, hydration, and mindset. You make decisions when you're tired. You respond when conditions change. And you learn that steady progress often matters more than a fast start.

That is true on a trail, and it is true when you're leading a team through a difficult year.

After many years of putting work and responsibility first, I came to understand how directly health, fitness, and time outdoors shape how we perform — and how we show up for the people around us.

My two sons are a big part of why I stay active and continue to challenge myself. Completing Leadville alongside them was one of the proudest moments of my life. It was much more than a race. It was something we experienced together — and a reminder that the best accomplishments are often the ones we share.

“The mountains have a way of showing you what you’re capable of — as an individual and as a team.”

Why Traverse Colorado

I created Traverse Colorado because I believe there is another way.

For leaders and teams, the mountains become a platform for leadership, communication, strategy, resilience, and trust. A shared physical challenge creates experiences that are difficult to replicate around a conference table.

For runners and mountain bikers, the Colorado high country becomes a training ground. Altitude, terrain, endurance, and changing conditions create an environment where athletes can prepare for their next challenge — whether that's a mountain race, a 100-mile event, or simply becoming a stronger and more capable athlete.

The experiences are different, but the philosophy is the same:

Challenge yourself. Adapt. Support one another. Keep moving forward. And discover what you're capable of when you step outside your normal environment.

That's Traverse Colorado.

Challenge with a Purpose.

Tell me about your team, yourself, or the goal you're working toward.
